Social media has been lighting up with the “10 Year Challenge,” and Mickey Guyton recently participated in the trend, posting side-by-side photos of herself from ten years ago to today. Guyton also used to post to reflect on the past ten years and to express her gratitude for her supporters, assuring fans she will “keep pressing towards the mark.”

“#10yearchallenge I am shooketh,” wrote Guyton “I also want to thank y’all from the bottom of my heart for your support. You guys have inspired me to keep going. I question whether or not I’m doing the right thing by being here on a daily basis. I have learned that when God gives you an assignment it will not be easy. Often you won’t even understand it. You will want to give up and leave it all behind. But He doesn’t give you more than you can bear. And I couldn’t bear this without y’all. So thank you. We will keep pressing towards the mark.”

Guyton has had a very successful past few years, releasing standout songs such as “What Are You Gonna To Tell Her?” and “Black Like Me,” among others. The star hosted the 2021 Academy of Country Music Awards alongside Keith Urban, and she has been nominated for a total of six Grammy Awards, three of which are for the upcoming 2022 Grammy Awards. The singer and her husband Grant have also been busy with their nearly 1-year-old son, Grayson. Guyton often shares moments with her family on social media, and she recently posted a photo of herself and her family from a winter vacation in New Mexico.

“Wish you were here,” she wrote. “First winter vacay as a family check. Thank you @vermejoreserve for an experience of a lifetime.”
