Thomas Rhett got the honor of throwing out the first pitch at the Chicago Cubs’ game against the St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field on Sunday, September 26th. Rhett posted multiple photos from the game, showing him decked out in a Cubs jersey and taking the mound for the pitch. He also shared a photo of him and wife, Lauren, on the field.

“One for the books!! Thank you @cubs for letting me throw the first pitch today,” wrote Thomas alongside the photos. “Love this city so much.”

The Cubs game isn’t the only sporting event Rhett has enjoyed lately. On September 19th, he posted a photo of himself, Cole Swindell and Riley Green taking in a Cleveland Browns game at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, OH. The three singers looked like true fans dressed in Browns gear as they smiled for the camera. Green and Cole joined Rhett for a show in Cleveland later that night on his Center Point Road Tour.

In addition to currently being on his Center Point Road Tour, Rhett is supposedly working on new music. He took to Twitter this week to post a video of himself playing a melody on the piano with the caption, “Y’all ready for some new music???”

Rhett has also been sharing photos and videos from his Center Point Road Tour. The tour will head to Pelham, AL on October 1st, St. Louis, MO on October 2nd and Rogers, AR on October 3rd. The tour runs through October 9th.
