Country superstar Carrie Underwood has launched a fitness app to accompany her first book, releasing fit52 today (March 2).

Envisioned as the central piece of a “holistic wellness platform” meant to encourage one’s personal journey toward a healthier life, the app allows users to follow the same workout Underwood has sworn by for years, developed alongside her trainer, Eve Overland.

All about balance and based on common-sense exercises, the app is said to feature “inspirational routines that are simple to do anytime, anywhere” — many which can be done in just 30 minutes. “Every workout is different and based on the hand of virtual playing cards you are dealt,” says an official statement about the app. “Each card demonstrates an exercise and number of reps, randomly revealed to provide a full-body workout.”

“Fitness is a true passion for me,” Underwood says. “The fit52 app incorporates what I’ve been doing myself for years, and we’ve made it easy and totally accessible for anyone that wants help to work in working out. We worked really hard to create a high-quality, user-friendly app that is designed for busy people and their busy lives. fit52 meets you wherever you are on your health journey, and I’m so proud of it.”

fit52 is available for free download now on iOS, with annual subscriptions running $1 per week or $52 per year. Underwood also has her own line of athleisure wear — CALIA by Carrie Underwood — and her first book FIND YOUR PATH: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong with the Fit52 Life, arrives March 3.
