The CMA Awards, aka “Country Music’s Biggest Night,” is also a night when country music’s finest step out looking impeccable, wearing jaw-dropping gowns and suited looks that will leave a lasting impression. This year’s fashion was all about sleek gowns, bold colors, polished looks and interesting details. I’m sharing my top 10 picks from the CMA Awards red carpet and why each look made my list.

Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood never disappoints on the red carpet and she looked so feminine and beautiful in a floral embroidered form-fitting gown. An all-over floral print was a bit unexpected for the expectant mom, but Carrie owned it. The dress fit her so well and I love how the slight train added even more visual interest to an already stunning gown.

Bebe Rexha

All-over sequins are a sure way to make a statement and Bebe’s gown immediately caught my eye. The deep plunge and high slit created a sexy look and the gown hugged her curves in all of the right places. The slight color variation, rhinestones, and subtle ruffles along the bodice of her dress added even more visual interest to this statement maker.

Kelsea Ballerini

Pink is HOT this season so I was thrilled to see the trend translate to the red carpet. Kelsea’s look was quite possibly my favorite of the evening. Her gown not only stood out because of the bright pink color but the fit, slight sweetheart neckline, subtle train and cap sleeves also made an impression on me. She looked absolutely stunning!

Maren Morris

Maren Morris

Maren looked like a golden goddess. Her gown created a sophisticated and sexy look. From the high slit to the side cutout detail, her dress made a lasting impression.

Jason Aldean on the Red Carpet at “The 52nd Annual CMA Awards,” on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in Downtown Nashville.

Brittany Kerr Aldean

Brittany Kerr Aldean’s bold yellow form fitted satin dress was an absolute standout. The bold yellow color was so unexpected and it looked stunning on her. The dress fit her so well and accentuated her silhouette beautifully. I love that she chose something a little unexpected.

Danielle Bradbery

Danielle Bradberry

All-over sequins, vertical stripes that created a beautiful shape, and delicate waterfall sleeve details landed Danielle’s dress at the top of my list. Her entire look was absolutely beautiful. She looked so classy and radiant.

Kimberly Williams-Paisley on the Red Carpet at “The 52nd Annual CMA Awards,” on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in Downtown Nashville.

Kimberly Williams-Paisley

I didn’t expect to see much white on the red carpet this year but Kimberly’s gown did not disappoint. The form-fitting silhouette, inverted high neckline and subtle train made her dress stand out. Her hair was styled perfectly as well, and her overall look was sleek and beautiful.

Kellie Pickler

Kellie Pickler

Kellie’s dress certainly stood out and may make the hit or miss list for some, but I found it on my hit list. Again, this color is trending this season and I loved the one shoulder silhouette. The mermaid ruffles elevated her gown even more. I think this gown suited Kellie and her spunky personality.

Cassadee Pope

Cassadee Pope

What’s not to love about a deep plunge, high lo hemline with a flowing train and embellished details? Cassadee’s dress drew me in for these reasons and the more I looked at it, the more I loved all of the details that made this dress unique. The midnight blue color stood out as well and looked beautiful on her!

Dierks Bentley

Dierks Bentley

I would be remiss not to mention Dierks Bentley’s suit. His grey plaid suit was a red carpet standout. He looked polished, chic and sophisticated. The wine-colored pocket square added the perfect pop of color and I loved the monochromatic button down shirt and tie. His look was definitely my favorite male look from the red carpet.
