Country Stars Celebrate ‘Halloweekend’ in Full Force

While it may be assumed that country stars are only thinking about what to wear for the CMA Awards this week, it didn’t stop a good majority of them from stepping out in their haunting bests for some Halloweekend fun!

Some artists opted for spooky parties and others got in the spirit by dressing up while out on the road during their tours. Whatever the case may be, they all pulled out all the stops to be funny, scary and everything in between for the scary holiday where anyone can be someone different for a night.

How creepy did the country community get? Well, see for yourself what costumes they had in store for the dress-up weekend and what they got up to while getting freaky during Halloweekend.

Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins as spooky skeletons

One more!

Let’s be real: Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren, absolutely SLAYED Halloween. With their flawless make-up looks and their costumes on point, it’s almost as if they let their skeletons out of the closest in the most fashionable way ever.

Charles Kelley as the Green Giant and Cassie Kelley as Ruth Bader Ginsburg

If Charles Kelley could be anything in the world, he would choose something that matches how tall of a guy he is. Hilariously enough, the costume does him justice accompanied by the real justice, Cassie Kelley as Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Power couple goals at its finest.

Jon Pardi and his band as Toy Story characters

Nailed it! Even got an minion in ! #toystory #freakfest

Group costumes are always a tough production to put together. But knowing Jon Pardi, it’s going to be worth a laugh or two. Setting himself up as the ultimate Woody, he got members of his band to go along with him on the Pixar theme. From “the claw” aliens to Little Bo Peep to Buzz Lightyear as a sidekick, Pardi’s crew definitely wins the award for best coordination.

RaeLynn as bacon and eggs

You are what you eat. A photo posted by R A E L Y N N (@raelynnofficial) on

Just as she captioned her Instagram post, RaeLynn falls into the common phrase, ‘You are what you eat.’ As a fan of both the breakfast foods, she even topped it all off with the perfect cup of coffee a.k.a her husband, Josh, dressed up as the drink. Getting into the meat topic with devotion, the country cutie even Snapchatted herself singing in the car to Nick Jonas’ smash single, “Bacon.” Sizzling as usual, RaeLynn!

Lauren Alaina and band as The Little Mermaid characters

Disney must have been the theme of choice for this year’s Halloweekend because Lauren Alaina got the animated memo by dressing up as one of the fan-favorite princesses. Known as the underwater mermaid princess with a gorgeous voice, Alaina donned a red wig and shiny green fishtail to channel that Ariel look alongside her band members dressed up accordingly as Prince Eric, Flounder and Ariel’s other pals. Too cute!

Jessie James Decker’s kids as Peter Pan and Tinkerbell

My Peter Pan.. he wasn’t havin his Peter Pan shoes tho. So he’s rockin tennis shoes

Pretty sure at least once in someone’s life, they dress up as some sort of character from Peter Pan. Jessie James Decker kept her kids coordinated with her son dressed up as the adventurous title protagonist of the film, with her daughter all dolled up to the likes of Tinkerbell. Off to Neverland they go.

Dustin Lynch and Little Big Town as post-bike accident Luke Bryan

Incredible year and memories with some of my favorite people on earth. Thank u so much @lukebryan and @littlebigtown A photo posted by Dustin Lynch (@dustinlynchmusic) on

Ok, this one may seem like just a stretch of a prank to some fans, but Dustin Lynch and Little Big Town’s poke at tour mate Luke Bryan’s accident a few weeks back is the funniest way to kill two birds with one stone. Not only did they follow the Halloween dress-up rules, but they also got to make fun of the guy they spent the last few months on the road with. Win win on their end. Besides, it’s all a bit of fun at the end of the day.

Alyssa Micaela as Dora the Explorer

Not gonna lie… I feel pretty aDORAble this Halloween☺️#happyhalloween #doratheexplorer

No one could nail their costume as much as Alyssa Micaela did over the weekend. From her short black bob to her mismatched shirt-short combo, the country artist is the best representation of the children’s’ cartoon that could ever be created. Looking enthusiastic to the max in her Instagram post, even she knows she got the look right for Halloween and also kept it super comical.

Hayley Orrantia and friend as Chicago characters

And all the jazz Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart have arrived! #Chicago #Halloween #JJAliens @justjared A photo posted by Hayley Orrantia (@hayleyorrantia) on

Hayley Orrantia brought all that jazz and so much more by strutting her stuff in a showy little number alongside her friend in similar attire to take Chicago from the Broadway stage in New York to Broadway down in Nashville. Cell block tango, anyone?

Craig Campbell and friends as Anchorman characters

Don’t act like you’re not impressed. #anchorman

Stay classy, Craig Campbell! We’re in a glass case of emotion over how clever these costumes are, especially with Campbell as the ringleader called Ron Burgundy. Just as his caption so clearly sums up, “don’t act like you’re not impressed” with the effort these guys put into their Halloween looks. Forever funny and pretty much a big deal always.

Maren Morris as a zombie

We KILLED tonight. #dadjokes 🎃🎃🎃💀💀💀

Even with a little bit of blood hanging from her lips and pale skin as dead as her character, Morris absolutely killed her Halloween stage look for her fans. No matter what kind of zombie she wants to be, she still knows how to keep her concerts lively.
