‘Dog The Bounty Hunter’ Star Beth Chapman Dead at 51

Dog The Bounty Hunter star Beth Chapman has died at 51 following a years long battle with throat cancer.

Reportedly passing today (June 26) at 5:32 am, she was surrounded by family and her husband — reality TV star Duane “Dog” Chapman — was holding her hand, according to a representative who spoke with People.

Dog announced the news on Twitter this morning, finding small comfort in a heartwarming coincidence regarding the exact time she passed.

“It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain,” he wrote. “Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.”

Beth first revealed her diagnosis in 2017 and captured part of her journey on film in A&E’s Dog & Beth: Fight of Their Lives. The family announced that she had been admitted to the hospital in June 22nd, and local news outlets reported she was placed into a medically-induced coma.

Beth is survived by husband and their four children.
