Kane Brown and Wife Katelyn Get Tattoos to Celebrate Daughter
Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn welcomed their second daughter, Kodi Jane, at the end of December, and they now have new ink to celebrate the new addition to their family. The couple showed off their new tattoos this week, with Kane opting to have “Kodi” tattooed on his hand, and Katelyn having “Kodi Jane” placed on her forearm.
“Mom and Dad matching again. Kodi Jane,” wrote Katelyn, alongside photos of herself getting her tattoo done.
Kane and Katelyn are no strangers to tattoos, as Kane has many covering his arms, chest, and neck. Some of Kane’s family-related tattoos include Katelyn’s name on his hand and the name of his eldest daughter, Kingsley, tattooed on his neck. Katelyn also sports a tattoo honoring Kingsley on her arm.
Other notable tattoos of Kane’s include the large gorilla tattoo on his left bicep and an angel wing on his right arm. Many of the couple’s tattoos were created by celebrity tattoo artist, Bubba Irwin, who won Ink Master in 2017 and owns his own tattoo shop in Nashville. Irwin has also tattooed Jason Aldean, adding palm trees to his left arm in 2020.
Kane and Katelyn welcomed their new daughter at the end of December after keeping their pregnancy under wraps from the public. The couple surprised fans with the news of Kodi’s birth on New Year’s Eve 2021, with Kane writing, “New year, New family member. Welcome to the family Kodi Jane.”
