Leave it to Little Big Town to bring high-end fashion and country music together in such a stylish manner as they did during the 2018 Nashville Symphony Fashion Show.

The country quartet took the hallowed halls of the Schermerhorn Symphony Center and radiated their warm energy through their unprecedented harmonies. Performing their massive single, “Better Man,” to a classy crowd seated along the runway, the band executed their vocals to the greatest detail and looked fabulous as they passionately sang their hearts away.

Following up the beautiful trauma within “Better Man,” LBT slowed the night down a notch with their bluesy “Girl Crush.” Karen Fairchild, donning a deep plum leather mini, broke hearts from her first note of longing within the beginning chorus. Her fellow bandmates followed her lead by chiming in behind her strong vocal for a gripping effect. Even the audience bounced the sound off by singing along to the woeful tune.

This year, the Nashville Symphony chose Jason Wu as their featured designer of the evening. Wu came on to the scene in a big way back in 2007 with his feminine take on everyday outfit staples. His sophisticated chic designs landed his smart collections on runaways across the globe, and Wu began styling a number of famous faces for special events. Wu had the privilege of dressing former First Lady Michelle Obama for the inaugural ball, as well as putting gowns together for Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington, Christy Turlington and many more esteemed women.

So excited. @jasonwu

His fall 2018 collection floated down the runway during the show, with long silky slips and petite polka-dot numbers captivating the crowd. Highlights from the line included an off-the-shoulder dark emerald green gown worthy of a red carpet soiree and a bold black-and-white piece with the underutilized pocket trend sown in the sides.

Proceeds from the 2018 Nashville Symphony Fashion Show will benefit the music education programs put on by the Symphony to teach children and adults about fine arts, and engage visitors of all kinds through artistic performances.
