Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd Celebrate Son’s 2nd Birthday
Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd’s son, Hayes, turns 2 on March 23, and he’s already having a busy birthday week. Morris took to social media to share a few moments from his birthday celebration, which included a petting zoo. The post features photos and videos of Hayes enjoying the animals. In on photo, Hayes is being held by someone as he tries to reach down to pet what looks like an alpaca. In a video, Hayes stands outside the animal pen and talks to a goat. Morris also shared a photo of the sweet family of three.
“My baby boy is 2,” Morris wrote, alongside animal emojis.
Morris and Hayes wore matching bandanas for the outing. Hayes also wore a denim jacket with his name embroidered on it and cowboy boots. The photos also showed the 2-year-old wearing glasses. Morris shared earlier this month that she had passed her “awful eyesight onto him.”
“Hayes had to get glasses today and he looks so cute but I also feel awful that I passed my awful eyesight onto him 🤓,” she wrote on Twitter.
The cowboy boots worn by Hayes were most likely the ones the couple bought for him earlier this month in Forth Worth, Texas. Morris shared a photo of the important milestone on Instagram, writing, “First pair of boots.”
Fellow musicians Morris and Hurd met at a co-write in Nashville in 2013 and began dating in 2015. They became engaged in 2017, and they were married on March 24, 2018 in Nashville. They welcomed Hayes, their first child together, on March 23, 2020.
