Rebecca Sweet Launches Lifestyle Blog, ‘Sweet Ladi Jane’

Rebecca Sweet, wife of Little Big Town’s Phillip Sweet, just launched her very own blog, Sweet Ladi Jane. Sweet, who is mom to 7-year-old Penelopi, is excited to have an avenue to share her insights and passions with her fans and friends.

We caught up with Sweet to chat about her blog, the Sweet Family’s holiday traditions, and more. Check out our exclusive interview with her below.

Why did you decide to start a blog?
I ran a successful campaign for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year and it inspired me to write and to share my journey. I learn something new about myself every day, and that’s thrilling to me. I enjoy being a storyteller and am so thankful that I’ll get to share all my new experiences through the blog.

How did you come up with the name Sweet Ladi Jane?
Jane has a very special meaning to me. It’s a family name that ties the female line together. My daughter is Penelopi Jane, I am Rebecca Jane, my cousin is Mackenzie Jane, and my grandmother was Betty Jane. The line goes even further than my grandmother!

What are some things that fans can expect to see on Sweet Ladi Jane?
People can expect a little bit of everything. I enjoy sharing things that I have learned or things my family enjoys, so you can expect a lot of family related materials. I love discovering new things, so it will be fun to write about everything I’ll learn on this journey. Overall, I want this to be a blog for the everyday woman, something that will inspire and empower my readers.

Will there be any guest appearances by any of your LBT family on the blog?
Sweet Ladi Jane wouldn’t be the same without them in my life! I love our whole group. I am thankful to be surrounded by such inspiring people, including the three youngest ones. You’ll have to stay tuned and see if there will be any guest appearances 🙂

As we approach the holidays, what are some of Sweet family’s holiday traditions?
My family enjoys a great gathering and this is our favorite time of year. Therefore, we have a lot of fun traditions. For Thanksgiving, we have a costume contest. You can dress-up as anything that is related to the history of Thanksgiving. During Christmas time, Phillip, Penelopi, and I, always leave out homemade “Sweet” cookies for Santa and vegetables for the reindeer.
