Thomas Rhett and Wife Lauren Share Sweet Family Photos From Montana

Thomas Rhett may be getting ready to pack his bags and move to Montana — at least that’s what he was feeling on Sunday when he shared photos from his family’s recent time in the state. In an Instagram post that simply reads “Moving to Montana,” Rhett shared several family photos from the trip, including snaps of his daughters enjoying the mountainous terrain, him and his wife Lauren fishing, and him hunting in the open landscape.

Lauren also posted photos from the trip, with the most recent being a humorous “Insta vs reality” story. In the first photo of the post, fans can see Lauren and their daughters Willa and Ada lounging comfortably on a deck overlooking a lake and mountains. In the second photo, however, she shared a snap of what was really going on during the taking of the photo, which shows 3-year-old Ada crying while 4-year-old Willa tries to console her.

“Ada James was REALLY upset when she asked if we could hike the mountains we were looking at and I said we had to wait til the next day because it was bedtime,” wrote Lauren. “Ohhhh the toddler stage can be SO fun (willa gray was trying to make her feel better with her gecko flashlight).”

Last week, Lauren posted a photo of herself going on a hike with their youngest, Lennon, on her back. “Little Lenny trying out being a montana baby,” she wrote. “She passed the glacier test yesterday.”

Rhett will be back in Nashville this week to perform at the 55th Academy of Country Music Awards on Wednesday, September 16. He goes into the ceremony already a winner, as it was announced Monday morning that he won the Music Video of the Year category for his “Remember You Young” video.

“What a start to the week,” he wrote on social media about the news. “This one is special. So much love went in to telling this story for y’all.”
