Thomas Rhett and Wife Expecting Fourth Baby Girl
It's another girl!
It was during one of his first live shows in more than a year that Thomas Rhett made an exciting announcement… he and his wife Lauren Akins are pregnant! And not only that, but the couple is expecting their fourth little girl!
With a photo posted to Instagram, Rhett shared the news with the world after revealing it to fans in Texas’ famous Billy Bob’s.
“Well… we are pregnant again! Tonight when I was on stage in Fort Worth about to play ‘to the guys that date my girls’ my wife talked to me in my (ear monitors) and said ‘you can tell them if you want’ so anyways, now you know,” wrote the proud dad. “We are pumped to be having our 4th girl🙌🙌🙌 feel free to buy all the merch you want, knowing that all the proceeds are going straight to all these weddings I’ll be paying for one day! Love you so much @laur_akins we always wanted a big thanksgiving table.”
Akins also share the news to her followers on Instagram with another photo. In her picture, the two are holding up four fingers, signifying their fourth little girl to join the Akins family.
“SURPRISE!! he just couldn’t wait any longer, so @thomasrhettakins told our newest little secret onstage at @billybobstexas in Ft. Worth (my mama’s hometown 🥰) just in time for Mother’s Day 💕: Akins family expanding in November 2021 with our FOURTH baby girl,” she wrote.
Rhett recently shared his praise for Lauren and how incredible of a mother she is. “I just watch my wife sometimes and I’m like, ‘I don’t know how you do this with such grace,” he admired. “I’ve said this before, but she’s my superhero and somebody that I just get to learn from every day.”
The couple is already parents to three little girls: they welcomed their first daughter, Willa Gray, in May 2017 through an adoption from Uganda. In August the same year, the loving couple gave birth to their first biological child and second daughter, Ada James. And, on February 10 last year, they ushered in the addition of their third baby girl, Lennon Love.
