Watch Luke Bryan Celebrate His 45th Birthday on Tour
You're only as old as you act!
Country superstar Luke Bryan marked his 45th birthday with about 20,000 of his closest friends on Saturday (July 17), welcoming the milestone at Jiffy Lube Live amphitheater in Bristow, Virginia.
Sharing the fun in a series of videos posted by Bryan and his wife Caroline, the celebration seemed to span an entire day of back-on-tour shenanigans — and likely marked one of the best birthdays Bryan’s had in years.
The fun started on Bryan’s tour bus before he and his family even made it into the venue, with a tight-pants dance and a round of breathless hugs from Bryan’s sons.
“How does it feel to be 45?” someone asks the hit maker, following about a minute of cheerful dancing.
“Like that,” an out-of-breath Bryan replied, pointing to his heaving chest.
Later, Bryan’s family, band and crew gathered before the show and took a swing or two at a piñata full of Fireball shots. There was even a cake designed to recall a mechanic’s garage (in honor of the Jiffy Lube connection), and official party T-shirts that hilariously read “Halfway to 90″ in Bryan’s honor. Then, during the show, Bryan was surprised with gag gifts that included a lamp, a fire extinguisher and “more Jockey underwear,” while the massive crowd sang along to “Happy Birthday.”
As always, the playful country star took it all in stride.
“Happy 45th Love Bug!” Caroline wrote on Instagram. “You make everyday an adventure and the love you give to everyone is absolute perfection. We love you to the moon and back!”
“It was an amazing birthday,” Bryan replied on a separate post. “I love you.”
Luke Bryan will continue his Proud to Be Right Here Tour with Dylan Scott and Caylee Hammack through October. He’ll mix in some festival dates and his annual Crash My Playa beach getaway in January of 2022, and then in February, he’ll embark on his first ever Las Vegas residency.
