A little party never killed nobody…until you wake up the next morning and that headache throbbing away did not come from dehydration.

Alcohol makes for some great times and then some horrible hangovers. Even the A-List of country stars isn’t immune to bottle flu despite always looking flawless the day after. We caught up with a few artists while visiting Las Vegas, the land where a hangover may land you blurry vision or a new spouse! With today being Cinco de Mayo, one of the biggest drinking holidays of the year, here are some of their pro tips to save you from a hangover that may make you say, “Ay, Caramba!”

“Oh, I’m a pro. I don’t get hungover….Iron liver.” –Kellie Pickler

“Usually, a burrito because I’m from California and then Coca-Cola. I love like a glass bottle of Coke, burrito and if you can, get some headache medicine or maybe drink a little bit more!” –Cam

“Don’t drink. Don’t drink. That’s it! Anybody who says they have a cure for a hangover is full of crap! I don’t though. I actually don’t….I’m not a hangover guy, thank God.” –Chris Young

“My go-to hangover cure…this is crazy. It’s always been something with tomato. I don’t know what it is in tomato and it’s cooked tomato, like spaghetti sauce or ketchup. So either spaghetti or a cheeseburger, I guess. I don’t drink…I mean it’s not that I never drink, but I try to stay away from it because I always have to eat my way out of it the next day, so that does me no good! But yeah, something for me with a little tomato in it.” –Brandy Clark

“I don’t know if it’s keep drinking, but have a drink. The go-to for some reason for me is Captain Morgan and Coke. If I have one of those, I am [snaps his fingers]. Back in it! Feelin’ good.” –Dustin Lynch

“Well, I like to consider myself a good partier with a lot of experience. With that comes wisdom and you’re supposed to make a lot of adjustments and learn like, ‘I shouldn’t have that sixth tequila shot. Maybe I’ll stop.’ So, some of the hangover prevention starts the night before. My go-to was always, especially in college, a big jug of Pedialyte, that baby drink you can get. Orange was my jug. You get some Pedialyte in you, maybe some hash browns and a beer because what a lot of people don’t understand is that alcohol is in your body and you go to sleep and you stop drinking, some of it ’cause your body can’t process it all fast enough, some of it kinda gets stored. Drinking a beer in the morning or two beers, whatever it takes, tells your body that there’s more alcohol coming in. So we gotta get to work on getting the rest of it out. It’s not just for fun, it works. It makes you feel better.” –Frankie Ballard
