If Country Stars Were The Characters From ‘Friends’

A Friends reunion is FINALLY on the horizon, and it’s safe to play the game of who would play which characters among the country music world. With the help of unagi and careful consideration, we have created our ideal Friends country casting call.

The Girls

Carrie Underwood as Rachel Green
As Rachel was the golden girl of the Friends group, Carrie is like the golden girl of country. With stunning looks and impeccable fashion taste (Rachel in the likings of Ralph Lauren, Carrie in her gorgeous gowns), these two could easily swap places. Plus, they both worked hard to make their way to the top with class and wit nonetheless.

Kellie Pickler as Phoebe Buffay
Let’s face it: both Kellie and Phoebe say some pretty quirky things. Their odd yet endearing senses of humor make them the perfect match for one another. Even their optimistic outlooks on life give them a reason to smile every day, which can be said for both women.

Karen Fairchild as Monica Geller
Never beating around the bush, both Karen and Monica get things done and quick. They like things their way and keep it together in their just so manners. Although Monica may reach extreme levels of organization at times, Karen’s ability to always have everything in check makes us put these two together. Besides, the brunette locks also make them one in the same somewhat!

The Guys

Brett Eldredge as Joey Tribbiani
Joey’s famous for many things, but his main attribute was his pride in being a bachelor. While Brett doesn’t exactly assume this same identity, he definitely makes the ladies swoon everywhere he goes, from his flower bombing on Broadway or looking ever so dapper in a tux at every award show. Single and ready to mingle, both men know how to get the girls to woo over them.

Brad Paisley as Ross Geller
Brad is known in the country community for being a standout guy with a kind head on his shoulders. He’s smart, just like Ross, and we’ll just assume he knows how to pivot when necessary. Our Ross and Rachel as Brad and Carrie have a great professional relationship as co-hosts on the CMA Awards show, so let’s just hope they never go on a break.

Luke Bryan as Chandler Bing
Could Luke be any more perfect for this character choice? Whenever he takes the stage, we can be sure to know that Luke is going to throw some humorous jabs at fellow friends in the audience, just as Chandler does to his friends. Luke is probably cooler than Chandler pretends to be, but they both are likeable by everyone who gets to know them deeper.
