The 6th Annual CountryMusicIsLove Concert Benefiting The Children’s Heart Foundation was a HUGE SUCCESS!
The sold-out show took place Monday (2/23) at The Listening Room Cafe in downtown Nashville, and was broadcast LIVE on Sirius XM’s The Highway. Kicking off the show was a Song Suffragettes songwriters round featuring Jillian Jacqueline, Caroline Kole, Megan & Liz, Carly Pearce and Kalie Shorr. Next up was country’s hottest new group, Old Dominion, followed by CMIL’s”Ones To Watch” Kelsea Ballerini and Austin Webb. Taking a break from the road with Brad Paisley, The Swon Brothers performed a set that included their debut single, “Later On,” and current hit “Pray For You.” Hitmaker Jana Kramer took the stage to perform next. She had the crowd singing along with fan favorites such as “Whiskey,” “Why Ya Wanna,” and her latest single, “I Got The Boy.” Headlining the show was ACM New Artist of the Year nominee Sam Hunt. The fans went wild for Hunt, who sang a variety of songs from his debut album, Montevallo, including “Leave The Night On,” “Break Up In A Small Town,” and his current Top 15 and rising hit, “Take Your Time.” He also wow-ed fans with a medley of songs like Trisha Yearwood’s “She’s In Love with the Boy,” Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name,” and Reba’s “Fancy.”
The event raised more than $11,000 for The Children’s Heart Foundation, the country’s leading national organization solely committed to congenital heart research funding. The goal of the foundation is to bring health, hope and happiness to children and families impacted by congenital heart defects, the most common birth defect in the United States.
