Rising country singer Abby Anderson has just released her new song, “Fearless,” which is featured in the upcoming movie, A Dog’s Journey. Based on the novel by W. Bruce Cameron and the sequel A Dog’s Purpose, this heartwarming film tells the story of a beloved dog Bailey, who finds his new destiny as his soul prepares to leave this life, and forms friendships and bonds that transcends lifetimes.

Delivering an emotional yet uplifting song, Anderson sings about facing inevitable adversity and rising above it.

I’m falling fearless, the right way to do it / Even when I’m crashing down, there is higher ground / I’m falling fearless, the right way to do it / Even when I’m coming down, it’s so much better now.

“Fearless” was written by Jayson DeZuzio and Jillian Strauss, and produced by Black River Entertainment writer and producer, Josh Kerr.

“This movie had me in tears, laughing and walking out of the theater with joy in my heart,” the 22-year-old shared with Billboard. “I’m just happy to have been involved with even a small part of Universal’s uplifting, positive and inspiring message.”

Both the soundtrack and movie, voiced by Josh Gad as Bailey and featuring Dennis Quaid and Marg Helgenberger, will drop this Friday, May 17.

Anderson is set to open for Rob Thomas as direct support on his Chip Tooth Smile tour, that spans 44+ dates and starts in Red Bank, NJ, on Tuesday, May 28. Information on tour dates and more can be found HERE.
