Avenue Beat Teaches the Girl Code In New Single ‘Be A Bro’
The ladies of Avenue Beat show off their sick moves and vocal chops in the music video for their new single, "Be A Bro."
Rising country trio Avenue Beat are back with their new single “Be A Bro” and a music video to go along with it.
The track is the third single off their self-titled debut EP, and it was co-written by Summer Overstreet and band members Sam Backoff, Sami Bearden and Savana Santos.
The video, directed by Tyler Barksdale, takes place in one location: a couch in an outdoor gazebo. The clip features shots of the trio singing, goofing around and showing off their quirky dance moves.
“If you hold a sister down/ It’ll all come back around/ So, be a bro/ Know the girl code,” sings Avenue Beat in the chorus. The song itself is a bright, fun and anthemic guide to friendships that effectively shows off the trio’s country-pop fusion and gorgeous three-part harmonies.
Having recently joined CMT’s Next Women of Country Class of 2020, the ladies of Avenue Beat are ones to watch in the coming years.
