Team Blake’s Barrett Baber did not disappoint on Monday night’s The Voice Finale. The Arkansas native took the stage for three performances during the show, including a duet with his coach Blake Shelton.

His strongest performance of the evening, however, was his cover of Thomas Rhett’s “Die A Happy Man.” The 35-year-old really seemed to feel the emotion of the song, and that was definitely apparent throughout the song.

“I don’t know that I’ve ever worked with anybody who puts more heart into their performances than you,” Shelton said.

After Baber’s performance, Thomas showed his appreciation on Twitter. “Loved hearing it,” he wrote, also sharing Baber’s Tweet and hashtagging #VoiceFinale.

The Voice season nine winner will be crowned in the show’s live two-hour finale tonight, which airs at 8pm ET on NBC.
