Emerging country duo BEXAR are spreading positivity and hope with their new song, “One Day.”
The up-tempo track serves as a timely reminder to listeners to keep dreaming big and chasing that heart’s desires, because each day spent working at it brings individuals closer to that reality “one day.”
“One day, we’re gonna be rich / Yeah, we’re gonna figure it out / One day, we’re gonna be it / We’re gonna have it a-a-a-all / Close your eyes and take my hand / We’rе gonna wake up in the promised land / Onе day, why don’t we make today day one, babe?” the pair sing euphorically in the anthemic chorus, accompanied by banjo, guitar and chest-thumping drum beats.
“One Day” was written by duo’s Chris Ryan and Logan Turner, alongside Ross Copperman and Josh Osborne. The song’s release was also coupled with a vibrant, feel-good music video.
“We hope everyone who hears this song feels the same way we did when we wrote it,” the band shares in a statement. “It’s all about loving life and seizing the moment. Money isn’t the only thing that makes you rich.”
“One Day” follows BEXAR’s major label debut, “Again,” released via Warner Music Nashville. Blending Kentucky bluegrass, Texas country and infectious pop melodies, the band draws inspiration from groups such as The Avett Brothers, Mumford & Sons, and Avicii. The product? A flawless sound that blends elements of traditional and contemporary country, appealing to both country and pop music fans.
