Country hitmaker Billy Currington has released a brand new single, “Details.” Penned by Nicolle Galyon, Mark Trussell and Stephen Lee Olsen, the infectiously groovy song lyrically depicts a man that’s so head over heels with his girlfriend that all he wants to do is spend time with her and her alone. And with every moment spent together, he figures her out a little more, detail by detail.

“I couldn’t tell you what I did today or the day before / I couldn’t tell you what song just played or the guy’s name that lives next door / 100 dollar bills could be falling from the sky, I wouldn’t notice / But baby I’m in tune with everything you do, I’m completely focused,” he sings in the song’s first verse.

The “Good Directions” singer has has 12 No. 1 singles to date, including recent singles “Do I Make You Wanna,” “It Don’t Hurt Like It Used To” and “Don’t It,” all of his last studio album Summer Forever. His new uptempo, laid-back single will be shipped to country radio on August 5.

This summer, when Currington isn’t at a beach surfing and riding the waves, you can find him on the road, on his headlining Stay Up ‘Til The Sun Tour across the country through the fall. For more information and tickets to get your summer vibes on, click here.
