Fresh off two GRAMMY wins for his feature on “Old Town Road,” country icon Billy Ray Cyrus is back with a new EP, The Singin’ Hills Sessions Vol. 1 Sunset.

The project debuted on Friday, Jan. 31, and features a cover of the Neil Diamond classic, “I am… I Said.” The star dedicated a performance of the song Kobe Bryant and the helicopter crash victims during a recent appearance on CBS’ The Talk.

“Thank you, Neil Diamond, for penning this reflective and powerful song,” said Cyrus in a press release. “40 years ago, I attended your concert in Charleston, West Virgina, and was inspired to buy a left-handed guitar the next day. Now here we are in this moment.”

Rounding out the EP are “She Always Goes” and “Killing The Blues,” a duet with Shooter Jennings.

Cyrus recently appeared alongside Lil Nas X and legendary actor Sam Elliott in a western-style Super Bowl ad for Doritos.
