Superstar couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are putting their love back in the limelight, teaming up for their second-straight duet on “Happy Anywhere.”

Released today (July 24), the feel-good anthem arrives as a full-hearted proclamation to only need each other, no matter the time or place. It’s well suited to an era of social isolation and features a straight-ahead country sound, while its playful video features footage of the couple on Shelton’s farm, singing to each other and more. The pair spent the lockdown months of March and April together, and will once again find themselves squaring off as coaches on the next season of NBC’s The Voice.

“You know, ‘Happy Anywhere’ has got to be one of the most fun songs that I’ve ever had a chance to record and the actual recording process was a blast,” Shelton says of the song. “Listening to it afterwards was a blast. I had a moment where Gwen told me, ‘You know, there’s something about this song that just makes you smile.’ And it doesn’t hurt that it has ‘Happy’ in the title.

“You’re always my destination / You’re the only thing I’m chained to / I could be happy anywhere / I could be happy anywhere with you,” goes the heartwarming hook.

“Happy Anywhere” follows Shelton and Stefani’s recent Number One hit, “Nobody But You,” and The Voice is expected to return for Season 19 this fall. This Saturday (July 25), the couple will also team up for the nationwide concert film series, Encore Drive-In Nights.
