Just in time for Father’s Day, Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots have released an acoustic version of their song, “Fishin’ With My Dad.”

The sweet melody comes just in time for the holiday that celebrates all the dads out there, even though Bones grew up in a different circumstance where he never had a father around to hang out with until he got older.

“I never had a dad growing up until later, later on in life and I was always jealous of people who did have dads and so all the references in the song “Fishing with My Dad” are exactly my life,” he said recently in an iHeartRadio interview.

Simply put, “Fishin’ With My Dad” is the kind of tune that fits the vibe of the Father’s Day, even though Bones had an alternative upbringing in his home life.

The song also falls in line with National Go Fishing Day, which is set for June 18. The track is available for purchase on iTunes now.
