Brad Paisley is coming back strong for 2017 by announcing that he will release a brand new album called Love and War in the new year.

Paisley announced the news back during a performance at the iHeart Theater in Los Angeles, leaving fans of the country singer in anticipation for what’s to expect for the next chapter in his music catalogue.

The record will mark his 11th studio album throughout his country career. Already known to be featured on the album are his duet with Demi Lovato, “Without a Fight” and his current emotional single, “Today.”

But that’s not all: Paisley admitted to having some other pretty big collaborations on the project, featuring household names that will get both seasoned and new fans excited.

“Mick Jagger has a song on there with me that is gonna flip you out,” Paisley said to Taste of Country Nights. “John Fogerty and I have been writing, and wait till you hear that. Timbaland, then Demi.”

As an artist who appreciates the diversity that the music industry brings from genre to genre, Paisley hopes this next album sets the bar even higher with his multiple collaborations and depth of songwriting.

“I wanted the collaborations on this record to be collaborations that took me outside of what you’d typically think and brought that other world into this, but it’s also very country,” Paisley explained.

Love and War is expected to release in February of 2017.
