Brad Paisley showcases the power of music with his deeply emotional new ballad, “Today.”
Released just hours ago, the poignant song is one Paisley hopes his fans will easily connect with.
“Today I’m releasing a song that means a lot to me,” the superstar wrote on Facebook. “I hope it becomes a soundtrack for you, that you put it to video & use it in your lives. I wanna see the ways it becomes a part of your story. It’s yours now.”
With lyrics like “I don’t know about tomorrow/ right now the whole world is right/And the memory of a day like today can get you through the rest of your life,” it’s safe to say the song will have no trouble resonating with Country fans.
The accompanying music video brings the song to life, showcasing shots of Paisley on the beach playing guitar mixed in with clips of brides on their wedding day, military families being reunited, proposals, and expectant mothers.
