Brandy Clark is bringing “Girl Next Door” to life in the brand new music video that perfectly portrays the song’s message.

“I loved working with Tracie Goudie and Shane Tarleton on the video for ‘Girl Next Door.’ This song is about someone wanting you for one thing, and then wishing you were completely different. Their vision was exactly what the song needed and I’m really excited to get to share it with everyone,” said Clark of the Stepford wife inspired clip.

“Girl Next Door” is the first single from the Washington native’s highly-anticipated sophomore album, set for release this summer. “I am thrilled to start this year by releasing new music!” she said of the track she wrote with Jessie Jo Dillon and Shane McAnally. “The response to ‘Girl Next Door’ from both my concert audiences and the country radio stations I have visited has been so positive and strong.”

Clark’s upcoming album follows her debut, 12 Stories, which earned her two nominations at the 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards, including Best Country Album of the Year.

Fans can currently catch Clark out on the road with Jennifer Nettles for the CMT Next Women of Country Tour.
