Brett Eldredge is taking fans back to his old stomping ground on the sentimental music video for his new single, “Gabrielle.”

The socially-distanced clip captures Eldredge’s return to his high school in Paris, Illinois, and follows him around places where he spent countless hours at as a kid. The result? A full-circle, “raw and honest” visual that took the singer back to his good ole days.

“We started the day filming this video in the basketball gym that my grandfather, father, brother and myself all played in and ended the day in an open field watching one of the best Midwest sunsets I’d ever seen,” Eldredge explained in a press release. “It feels like I’m still there in that gym. I can almost hear the lights buzz as they warm up before turning on completely and smell the old wood of the gym floor.”

With the release of this heartwarming video, the country crooner is hoping that it emboldens everyone to courageously pursue the passion, whatever the odds, and regardless of fear.

“I hope this song and the nostalgia we captured in the video inspires people to chase down opportunities your heart gives you, even if it might not work out in the end,” Eldredge shared. “You’ll be glad you never let fear hold you back.”
