Brett Eldredge is about to head into the holiday season merrier than ever as he’s scored his sixth consecutive No. 1 radio single with the success of his hit, “Wanna Be That Song.”

Coming off of his hugely successful album, Illinois, Eldredge nailed down another No. 1 this week with the romantic sentiment alongside other cuts from the project such as “Lose My Mind” and “Drunk on Your Love.” While “Wanna Be That Song” hones in on a slower and softer side of Eldredge, it still remained a favorite for fans and listeners alike over the past week to find itself on the top of the Billboard and MediaBase charts.

“Getting to be ‘that song’ for my fans just makes this so much sweeter, better than any number one I’ve ever had,” Eldredge said in a press release. “This is the song I’ve wanted to release for a long time so thank you to my team, my fans, country radio – and Merry Christmas!”

Knowing his hilarious persona, Eldredge thanked his fans in his own unique way by filming a quick clip outside his Glow poster in Nashville dressed up as a modern Santa and popping some champagne with his festive friends nearby.

“Wanna be that song” is our 6th NUMBER ONE song in a ROW! I am serious as santa! Good god I love you all!
