Brett Young shows off his pride and joy in the official video for his new single, “Lady,” bringing his heart-melting track to life.
Celebrating a father’s love and soul-stirring hope for the future, the track is all about the example Young’s wife, Taylor, will surely set for their infant daughter, Presley, and the new video puts that family-oriented devotion front and center. Featuring intimate footage of his life at home, the clip was directed by Seth Kupersmith with social distancing techniques in mind (using only one camera and a drone), capturing everything from quiet moments on the couch to sunny days beside the pool and messy dinnertime adventures.
“I hope you guys can feel the love that’s deeply rooted in this song and see how the video really brings it to life,” Young wrote of the clip on social media.
“Lady” was released on May 1, marking the first taste of Young’s next recording project and the follow up to five-straight Billboard Country Airplay Number Ones, dating back to 2017’s 5X Platinum “In Case You Didn’t Know.”
