Brett Young Surprises Young Fan For Her Birthday
What a sweet surprise!
Brett Young helped make one little girl’s 10th birthday very memorable by paying her a surprise visit.
According to FOX 13, Abbie Simmons of Florida wrote a letter to Young prior to her birthday in which she asked him to come to her birthday party. When she didn’t initially receive a response, her mother and family friend, Lindsay Dean, surprised Abbie with a cardboard cutout of the country star for the party. They documented the young fan’s reaction to the surprise on social media, which can be seen in a video posted by Young.
When Young eventually did get her letter, he decided to surprise Abbie even though her birthday had passed. Her family planned a “pajamas and pancakes” party for the special surprise. In the video posted by Young, the country singer walks into the home greeted by screams from the children. He then sings his song, “Lady,” for the birthday girl.
“This. Was. Incredible,” Young wrote alongside the post. “It was a pleasure meeting you, Abbie!”
Photos and videos of the special day were also shared by Lindsay Dean, who helped coordinate the surprise.
“Trying to play it cool but TOTALLY FREAKING OUT,” wrote Dean. “The incredible @brettyoungmusic flew here to my neighbors house today to surprise their daughter for her birthday! All because of one of you! It all started with a cardboard cutout that I casually mentioned in my stories (and how much she is obsessed with him) and HERE HE IS in the flesh! I am SO thankful for this community and making a little girls dreams come true today was probably the highlight of my year!
