Country’s most iconic duo have set another all-time record with their new Reboot collaborations album. Brooks & Dunn’s LP return debuts at No.1 on Billboard’s Country Albums chart this week – which comes as no huge surprise – but it also arrives inside the Top 10 of the all-genre Billboard 200, sharing space with artists like Drake, Post Malone and Khalid.

It’s the first time the duo have reached No.1 since 2009, and that is something worth celebrating. But it’s also the tenth time the duo have hit the all-genre Top 10, and that is the most of any country duo or group in the chart’s history.

“We always said that after all the crazy highs we’ve had along this journey, that the most important thing to us was that the music that held up over time,” says the duo’s Ronnie Dunn. “To have a No.1 record with these songs we love is wild and we’re so happy to have worked on this project with so many current talents. It is a testament to the power of collaboration.”

Reboot features immortal Brooks & Dunn hits like “Neon Moon,” “My Maria,” “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” and more, all re-imagined as duets with today’s rising stars. Kane Brown, Thomas Rhett, Brett Young, LANco, Ashley McBryde, Brothers Osborne, Luke Combs, Midland, Cody Johnson, Jon Pardi, Tyler Booth and Kacey Musgraves are all featured on the adventurous project.

“These songs are so important to us, and we’re so thankful that they have had this chance to have new life breathed into them,” Kix Brooks adds. “We had so much fun in the studio with everyone, it’s been a really special project for us.”

Brooks & Dunn returned to the ACM Awards stage earlier this month alongside Combs for a hard-charging rendition of their breakout hit, “Brand New Man.” They’ll perform select concert dates around the country this summer – including another round of their popular Together In Vegas residency with Reba McEntire – and will become the newest inductees into the Country Music Hall of Fame later this year.
