Cam Announces Debut Album, ‘Untamed’

Months after releasing her Top 12 hit, “Burning House,” Cam has finally announced her full-length debut album, Untamed.

The album features 11 songs, all of which were co-written by Cam. The project, due out December 11, was produced by GRAMMY®-winner Jeff Bhasker (Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, FUN., The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift) and Tyler Johnson (Ed Sheeran, OneRepublic, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Mikky Ekko).

The unique album cover features Cam sipping on a lemon through a straw. “The idea of just drinking a lemon straight is, life is going to hand you a lot of things that you don’t necessarily want to deal with and you should not water it down and sweeten it up,” Cam told Rolling Stone Country. “Drink it straight, and deal with it head-on. If you’re brave enough to take whatever it is head-on, you win. The world is yours.”

“Burning House” is currently No.12 at country radio. She recently released the fiery music video for the emotional song, which features her in a (you guessed it!) burning house. The powerhouse vocalist was also featured on The Bobby Bones Show this morning (10/29), where she took on a cover of Adele’s “Hello.”

Next up for Cam is an opening slot for the winter leg of Brad Paisley’s Crushin’ It World Tour. The tour resumes on January 21 in Jonesboro, AR.
