“Burning House” hit maker Cam is about to catch fire again, announcing a release date for her second album and a brand new single to match.

Titled The Otherside and hitting the street October 30, the California native’s second LP has been three years in the making — and finds her in a whole new chapter of life. In that three years she’s continued touring around the world, became a mom and balanced it all with traveling between New York City, Nashville and Los Angeles to write songs.

Meanwhile, Cam has also unveiled a new single titled “Classic,” — all about the timeless kind of love she shares with husband Adam Weaver. Co-written with pop mastermind Jack Antonoff (Taylor Swift), it’s a feel-good anthem built on bright and bouncy West Coast country.

“Jack and I caught something in the air that day and ran with it,” Cam says. “The track is so much fun. Jangling guitars, claps, it feels like when a group of familiar people get back together over the holidays, clanking around after dinner with too much wine, and amidst the chatter and laughter and closeness they are really telling each other, deep down, just how much they love each other.”

The new track follows Cam’s previous 2020 releases — the stormy “Till There’s Nothing Left” and sturdy “Redwood Tree” — which will both also be featured on The Otherside.
