Cam puts a colorful spin on her latest single in the official video for “Classic,” offering fans a bouncy tribute to timeless romance.

Filmed at the White Limozeen rooftop bar in Nashville and featuring plenty of throwback luxury, the fun-filled clip was directed by Taylor Fauntleroy and finds Cam done up like a modern day Marilyn Monroe. The team found the perfect setting for her uptempo romper, with rich pinks and golds jumping off the screen as Cam compares her love to things that never go out of style. She co-wrote the swinging track with pop artist and producer Jack Antonoff (Fun., Taylor Swift), and its included on her upcoming album, The Otherside.

“Jack and I caught something in the air that day and ran with it,” she explains in the video description. “The track is so much fun. Jangling guitars, claps, it feels like when a group of familiar people get back together over the holidays, clanking around after dinner with too much wine, and amidst the chatter and laughter and closeness they are really telling each other, deep down, just how much they love each other.”

“Like a bench in the front seat / Like a big yellow taxi / Like your best friend’s mixtape / A big limo and a prom date / Ain’t nothin’ new I’m waitin’ for / ‘Cause they don’t make ‘em like this anymore,” goes the smiling track.

“Classic” is the third track released off Cam’s new project, following the intense “Till There’s Nothing Left” with its striking, apocalyptic video, and the sturdy “Redwood Tree.” The Otherside will arrive on October 30, and follows her 2015 breakout, Untamed.
