Fresh off her chart-topping debut single, Carly Pearce is ready to get a little funky in her newest release to country radio, “Hide The Wine.” Co-written by Ashley Gorley, Luke Laird, and Hillary Lindsey, the tune follows the subject as she locks up all of the things that might lead her to temptation when an old flame unexpectedly drops by.

“Better hide the wine And get it gone / Oh I better hide every one of them records that turn me on (lock ‘um up, lock ‘um up) / Turn up the lights And kill the mood / Oh ’cause baby I just don’t trust myself with you / I better hide the wine,” the Kentucky native croons throughout the chorus.

Hitting radio December 4, Pearce shared her excitement for the new tune in a post to Instagram.

The release of “Hide The Wine” comes just after Pearce’s unprecedented climb to No.1 with her heart-wrenching ballad, “Every Little Thing.” Taking the top spot on both the Mediabase/Country Aircheck and Billboard Country airplay charts, the accolade made her the highest charting solo female debut since July 2015.

Pearce will continue living her dream as she opens for Brett Young on the remaining dates of his headlining Caliville Tour. She’ll kick off 2018 with a bang as she’s slated to join Blake Shelton’s Country Music Freaks Tour and Thomas Rhett’s Life Changes Tour.
