Country singer Carly Pearce has been out on the road all summer with Jason Aldean and Kane Brown on the former’s Ride All Night Tour. But this coming Fourth of July weekend is an exception, with Pearce having some time off from the road.

In getting excited for the holiday, the singer-songwriter recently shared some memorable (and hilarious) memories from past Fourth Of July celebrations with her family.

“I feel like every Fourth of July we always went to my grandparents’ house and just had a big cookout and shot off illegal fireworks that we weren’t supposed to,” recalled the Kentucky native.  “And my dad would always almost get burnt up by one and we used to always joke that he always, every year got chased by at least one firework.”

However, this year, Pearce will probably be watching fireworks with someone else; her
fiancée Michael Ray. She likely plans to travel “Closer To (him)” as the “Her World Or Mine” singer plays the Hansen Stadium in Saint George, Utah, this coming holiday.

Pearce is out on the road traveling across the country all summer for the Ride All Night Tour and festivals dates. For more information and to get tickets. click here.
