Country singer Carly Pearce recently wrapped up from hosting a night of performances at the legendary Grand Ole Opry and now, she’s leaving the door wide open to more hosting opportunities.

“I mean, I look at the two ladies to me that are just really showing me what I want to do, as far as being someone in the industry, is Dolly [Parton] and Reba [McEntire], and they do it best,” Pearce says.

Both Dolly and Reba have hosted the CMA Awards and ACM Awards, and Pearce is hoping to follow in the footsteps of these trailblazing women.

“I would love to start to kinda tap into that. I didn’t throw up, pass out or die on stage at the Opry, so I feel like that was a good, just starter for me.”

Last month, Pearce released her song “Show Me Around,” a stirring tribute to the late producer (and her dear friend), busbee. Her current single, “Next Girl,” is also currently climbing up the country charts. A new body of work is expected to drop in the near future.
