Chase Bryant took on the best form of flattery by creating a gorgeous cover of Little Big Town’s latest radio single, “Better Man.”

Teaming up with the beautiful harmonies from the ladies of Runaway June, Bryant flipped the perspective from the original track by singing through the male’s point of view of the relationship gone awry. Powerfully vocalizing the issues noted throughout the Taylor Swift-penned song, Bryant’s smooth tone blends perfectly throughout each chorus with the melodies that Runaway June so effortlessly creates.

“I had goosebumps the first time I ever heard Little Big Town perform “Better Man.” Thank you for the inspiration @littlebigtown and @taylorswift. Here’s my take on the song,” he wrote when sharing the video with fans.

The video shows the making of the cover behind the scenes in the studio with both Bryant and Runaway June. While the trio casually huddles around to record their stunning background vocals, Bryant looks emotionally driven line after line during his session.

“Better Man” is the lead single for Little Big Town off of their forthcoming record, The Breaker, and has quickly risen to the top of the charts since its release last year. The band is set to go on quite the journey this year with the release of their new album, as well as their residency at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville with the group playing shows throughout the year at the iconic venue.
