Chris Lane Cuts the Cake in ‘Big, Big Plans’ Wedding Video
The clip was filmed at his real-life wedding to Lauren Bushnell.
Chris Lane has invited his fans to be part of his wedding in the new video for his romantic single, “Big, Big Plans” — no RSVP or gifts necessary.
Filmed during his real-life wedding to Lauren Bushnell on October 25, the heartwarming clip was directed by Justin Clough and filmed on-site Nashville’s 14TENN, where the couple became husband and wife. Filled with candid shots of the ceremony and reception — and with Lane looking suave in his classic black tuxedo — the video puts viewers right in the middle of the Lanes’ special day, from first looks to first dances and beyond.
“I got some big, big plans / Build a little house out on some hand-me-down land / Find a little island where we go to get tan / I bet we take our kids down there one day,” he sings.
“Big, Big Plans” was co-written by Lane with Jacob Durrett and Ernest K Smith, and has cracked the Top 40 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. Fans first heard the track when Lane used it to propose to Bushnell back in June (as he was planning all along), and he’s now headlining the Big, Big Plans Tour with Gabby Barrett, Ernest and Blanco Brown.
