Country singers Chris Young and Mitchell Tenpenny embark on a little pub crawl in their new single, “At the End of the Bar,” searching for the elixir of a life well lived. And on NBC’s Today, the duo deliver it in pure-Nashville style.

Performing the new track as part of Citi Music Series, the Middle Tennessee natives team up in Nashville’s Acme Feed & Seed — literally filming at the end of the bar.

A swaying new collab built around Young’s classic baritone and Tenpenny’s smoky style, the track arrives as a true buddy-country anthem. Part of Young’s aptly titled Famous Friends album, it’s a tribute to all the things you can find in dive-bar oasis, from great country music to true love or even a little peace of mind.

Earlier this month Young and Tenpenny shared the track’s official video, which featured the pair at a massive homecoming concert — just a few feet from where they filmed their Today performance. Back in July, they packed something like 15,000 fans onto the streets of downtown Nashville — the home of countless “end of the bar” moments.

Meanwhile, Chris Young and Mitchell Tenpenny are currently on the road as part of Young’s Famous Friends Tour, and “At the End of the Bar” follows another hit from Young. He and Kane Brown teamed up for the chart topping, “Famous Friends,” which reached Number One at country radio earlier this summer.
