Forget the suit and tie: Clare Dunn is looking for a homegrown farm boy with a white horse in her new music video for her single, “Tuxedo.”

Inspired by her upbringing in the fields of Colorado, Dunn dreams of a man who isn’t afraid to get a little dirt on his hands as long as she’s the one in his arms at any other time. The music video follows suit with the wishful lyrics, showing Dunn fall for the guy she lists upon each chorus.

“The video for ‘Tuxedo’ is definitely a look at how I grew up on a small farming ranch in Southeast Colorado and all the things that influenced me as a young farm girl. I always watched and admired and dated farm boys and cowboys and that’s where the inspiration for the song itself comes from,” said Dunn.

Reflecting that authentic country vibe, the video sees Dunn in all the cliché farm scenes from sitting shotgun in a red pickup to riding paint horses around the property. The video itself is like a backwoods version of Cinderella, only the glass slipper is an old beat-up cowboy boot.

But at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter if Dunn’s dream guy is scuffed up and worn out. She just wants the true love that comes from a rancher background.

“It’s really me dreaming about wanting to find my ‘Tuxedo’ man and all the things that I hoped he would be and all the things that are important to me, and so I wanted that to reflect in the video. I come from the farming way of life, the country way of life, the ranching way of life, and I wanted to show that in the video,” she said.
