Zac Brown Band musician Clay Cook and his wife Brooke are adding to their family! Cook told People that they are expecting their third child, a long-awaited baby girl, this fall.

“I couldn’t be happier to announce that my wife and I are expecting our third child and our very first baby girl!” says Cook. “Fun fact: This will be the first girl in the Cook family line since the 1930s.”

Their new daughter will join two older brothers, Theron “Teddie” Maine, born in August 2018, and Charles “Charlie” Robert, born in November 2016. The baby announcement also included a family photo shoot with their two boys, complete with pink heart-shaped balloons, confetti and cake pops.

“Our whole family, and especially her big brothers, cannot wait to meet her,” Cook told People. “I can’t say how much it means, especially during this time in the world, that we can share our joy and blessing with everyone.”

Cook also posted the photos for fans on Instagram, writing, “So excited to share with you guys that we’re pregnant & going to have our first girl. I’m so lucky in this life.”

Brooke shared the photos as well, mentioning how excited she is for the baby girl to have two older brothers to protect her.

“She has no idea how lucky she is to be coming into this family with two built in body guards anxiously awaiting her arrival,” she writes.

Clay and Brooke were married in October 2014.
