Rising country stars Abby Anderson, Niko Moon, Cassadee Pope and Mitchell Tenpenny will head to the Pacific Rim as part of the Country Music Association’s Introducing Nashville series in March.

The musicians will perform in various cities in Australia before moving on to shows in Auckland, New Zealand, and Tokyo, Japan. Launched in 2019, Introducing Nashville provides a platform for current acts to introduce their music new audiences, and the series also supports CMA’s mission of expanding the reach of country music beyond the United States.

“Bringing the ‘Introducing Nashville’ tour back to these markets gives this group of artists their first opportunity to play in these cities and show international audiences how broad the genre is,” said Milly Olykan, CMA Vice President of International Relations & Development. “This tour also provides CMA an opportunity to meet with international media, fans and industry and learn more about how we can continue to increase the profile of country music in these markets.”

Since its 2019 launch, the concert series has hit cities like Amsterdam, Auckland, Berlin, Oslo, Stockholm, Tokyo, the U.K. and Australia, and it has featured artists like Danielle Bradbery, Brandy Clark, Devin Dawson, Travis Denning, Lindsay Ell, Walker Hayes, Lauren Jenkins, Logan Mize, Tenille Townes and Rachel Wammack.
