Cole Swindell & Dierks Bentley’s ‘Flatliner’ Video Will Have Hearts Racing

Get your heart pumping with the new high-energy live video from Cole Swindell and Dierks Bentley for their collaboration “Flatliner.” Filmed during the Sioux Falls, SD stop on Bentley’s 2017 What The Hell Tour, the two pump up the crowd with the three-minute tune.

“After kicking off the album with ‘You Should Be Here’ and how special that song was to me for so many reasons, I knew it would be hard top that feeling. Now, I find myself in a place every night having the opportunity to get up on stage with Dierks Bentley- one of my favorite artists and an artist I have looked up to as a mentor since before I moved to Nashville,” said Swindell in a press release. “It’s unbelievable. Dierks is so gracious.”

“Flatliner” was written by Swindell, Matt Brownleewe and Jaron Boyer with Bentley in mind. After unsuccessfully pitching the song to Bentley, Swindell decided to hold on to it. Just several years later, he was able to reach out to his idol and ask him, in person, to appear on the track. The two now perform it together each night during Bentley’s set on tour.

“I have said since the day this song was released that I wrote ‘Flatliner’ about four years ago with him in mind to record it. Never in my wildest dreams did I think he would record it with me for my own album one day. And here we are. This is such a fun, highly energized and, honestly, surreal moment each and every night of the tour for me that there was no question in my mind of how I wanted to capture this video.”

The track is the third single from Swindell’s sophomore album You Should Be Here and follows his No.1 songs “Middle of a Memory” and “You Should Be Here.”

Fans can catch Swindell and Bentley together when they perform the track on the 52nd Annual ACM Awards on Sunday, April 2, as well as the rest of the 2017 What The Hell Tour.
