While some artists record and release original holiday songs, Craig Wayne Boyd, winner of The Voice season 7, kept it classic with the recent release of “I’ll Be Home For Christmas.”
The track, which was originally recorded by Bing Crosby in 1943, has been covered by several Country artists, including Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts, and Craig Campbell.
Although he kept it traditonal throughout much of the recording, Boyd put his own stamp on the holiday classic with the closing line: “Merry Christmas, y’all.”
