Fans at this year’s Super Bowl sure had plenty to cheer about — even before the game started! As a case in point, pop star Demi Lovato was caught belting out “Speechless” during a surprise performance alongside Dan + Shay.
Taking place the night before the big game (February 1) during Dan + Shay’s set at the Bud Light Super Bowl Fest, the impromptu duet featured a world-class vocal blend and drove the stunned crowd wild, born from a moment of true backstage magic.
Hanging out in a dressing room before the show, the newly-formed trio couldn’t resist putting some harmonious wizardry on the Grammy-winning hit, with Lovato and Shay Mooney matching their high-flying voices in flawless perfection. The track took on a whole new life — so good it needed to be shared — so Lovato then surprised fans by showing up during the duo’s set, and went on to deliver the National Anthem one day later.
