Hollywood star Dennis Quaid gets more than he bargained for from a night out in the official video for Midland’s new single, “Mr. Lonely.”

Featuring the acclaimed actor and musician as the one and only “Mr. Lonely” himself, the clip follows Quaid in a comedic misadventure of romantic revenge. In the song, he’s the guy prowling the dark corner booths of the world, just waiting for a broken heart that needs a little temporary healing. Quaid brings that character to life in the video – but we meet “Mr. Lonely” on a night when his past finally catches up with him.

Quaid greets the band and takes a spot at the bar in a small-town roadhouse, but quickly discovers he’s fallen into a trap. There are plenty of pretty girls around, but they all have something in common – and it’s a history of being burned by “Mr. Lonely.” With Midland providing a two-stepping soundtrack filled with bright-burning harmonies and twangy retro-tonk guitar riffs, the ladies proceed to offer Quaid a number he can call for a good time: “911.”
