If Dierks Bentley’s new music video for his song “Living” doesn’t put a smile on your face, then nothing will. The adorable clip, released Friday (4/12), features the singer’s five-year-old son Knox on a grand adventure through Nashville.

The nearly four-minute-long clip begins with Knox racing down the stairs at the crack of dawn, eager to wake his dad and start the day. After waking his old man up, Knox immediately heads to the music room, where the drums are his instrument of choice. The concert is quickly shut down by Bentley, who has yet to have his morning coffee. But after seeing Knox’s sweet smile, Bentley succumbs to the fun and the boys take off for a fun jam session.

The two then turn their day into a full-on adventure, complete with zip lining, gladiator fighting, karate, water slides and even puppies. Seeing the world through the five-year-old’s eyes is the just the reminder Bentley needed to not just go through the motions of life and enjoy every second.

“’Living’ certainly celebrates life’s big moments and adventures, but for me it’s even more about being intentional and present in everyday moments,” said Bentley in a press release. “Knox is at that age where he can still find the biggest joy in the smallest things, and that childlike appreciation for life is the spirit I wanted to bring to this video to remind us of difference between just being alive and actually ‘living.’”

“Living” is the third single off of the Arizona native’s The Mountain record, following the chart-topping hits “Women, Amen” and the ACM-winning “Burning Man.” Check out the adorable clip above.
