Dolly Parton and Jimmy Fallon team up for a holiday blast of slapstick fun in the new video for their “All I Want for Christmas” duet, getting drawn as a pair of kooky cartoons.

Filled with playful antics and animated in classic, Hanna-Barbera style, the joyful video takes Parton and the star of NBC’s The Tonight Show on a wild ride to making their Christmas wishes come true. Nodding to the unique year 2020 has been throughout, it starts with the unlikely pair chatting via video conference, and deciding they would really like to see each other in person.

From there the cartoony craziness picks up, with Parton setting off from her home in Los Angeles and Fallon escaping New York City. The country icon takes the easy route, descending into her very own Dolly-cave to fire up a hot-rod sleigh, while Fallon is forced to “improvise” his transportation. All the while, the stars sing with a smiling, friendly sound, and after a cross-country trek, meet up in Music City for a drive-in Dolly concert. The upbeat Christmastime favorite even ends with a laugh, with Parton calling Fallon a “sexy boy.”

Dolly Parton and Jimmy Fallon teamed up for “All I Want for Christmas” on Parton’s A Holly Dolly Christmas, the legend’s first Christmas album release in 30 years. Other collaborators on the project include Billy Ray CyrusMiley CyrusMichael BubléWillie NelsonRhonda Vincent and Darrin Vincent, and Parton’s brother, Randy, with six new holiday originals joining a handful of classics. Parton also released another animated clip in November, this one with Bublé on “Cuddle Up, Cozy Down Christmas.”
